Medications

There are many medications: the GLP-1s including wegovy injectable and oral, zepbound, Foundayo (oral), as well as non GLP-1s like Contrave, Phentermine, Topamax, and Qsimia that all have different mechanisms and can work for different patients both as a standalone or before and after any other surgery or procedure

Endoscopic Bariatric Procedures

The endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty is a procedure that shrinks the stomach from just a scope in the mouth and has good data for weight loss - its effectiveness is between medications and full surgery, but lasts longer than the medications
